I see at least 150 from Peterson, but then Thompson will have about 200 yards passing.

183 yards on 20 carries. He is their offense.

Stevie will blast for 50 yards on 12 carries.

Bret will go for 900 yards of on field runniung to escape the onrushing lineman before he passes.

McCarney will walk eight miles because the game will last so long.

So what happened to Josh Johnson? He has one carry so far.

I'm thinking he goes for about 185. No shame in that.....but I'm hoping that it takes him at least 30 carries to do it. Nebraska ran for a lot of yards, but when they were running, they weren't scoring and ISU started to come back. So I am hoping that I see more running than passing.

Does anybody else find it distrubing that we have already given up 23 sacks?!? Were on pace for 46 sacks and last year we had 37. And this is supposed to be an improved O-line with 4 senior starters?!? Wow, thanks cotton.

I really don't like our chances in this game. I just have this feeling that peterson is gonna go off and that means our defense is out on the field for most of the game. And even if we do some how stop AD, Paul Thompson is like 12th in the nation in passing efficiency. And when we do get possessions we will be thorwing the ball (most likely going to be coming from behind). Plus the fact that OU has never lost the week after the Texas game. This game could get real ugly.

I say he doesn't get much because they'll have to give up their running game to keep up with all the points our offense will be putting up. um.....or not.....

I'd put him on 135 yards. Oklahoma will run a very balanced offensive attack.

I don't know what "come back" you are talking about since we didn't score until the last 10 seconds of the game. I guess that could be considered a comeback...

I thought Albert Young would run all over us and he didn't...Tate threw all over us. I thought Nebraska would pass all over us...then they ran for a sh*t ton of yards. So I'm going to say he'll only get about 90-100 yards and Thompson will be the 7th QB this year that we have made look like Heisman Trophy candidates.

1) We didn't play Texas last year. They were all over Meyer.
2) We play one extra game this year.
3) When Meyer slipped a couple of times in the UNI game, weren't those counted as sacks?

With his Dad in attendance for the first time since middle school, coming off a bad loss, if he went for over 200 vs. a good Oregon team; I don't see why he doesn't go for 350 against a bad ISU run defense... He is going to have MONSTER game... along w/ the yards, add 4 TDs in a freakin rout...

The 23 sacks also doesn't include every time Brett had to scramble and gained yardage. If we had didn't have a mobile quarterback (say like Drew Bledsoe in college form), then we would have 50 sacks against already.

i say it depends if we keep up in scoring. We probably wont so I predict AP gets 225 and sits the 4th quarter.
