ISU is on the UConn 25. Its 4th and 3, do we kick a field goal or go for it? :wideeyed:

If its from 50 yards out kick it. Anything shorter and our kicker will probably miss. We have Steele "Clutch MF'in" Jantz, go for it.

Since it is a tie game, you absolutely kick it. If we were behind by one or two.... now that's something to think about...

No more field goals, ever. I have watched enough ISU field goal kicking already in my life. From the 40 and in, you go for it, every single time. Outside the 40, we punt.

...... I want to put a jimlad on here, but honestly, I'm not completely sarcastic.

If it's tied, kick it. If it is missed, the game goes OT, and Jantz will carry this team on his back in clutch situations.

Kick it, if Rhoads doesn't kick it in that situation that's means he has absolutely no confidence in either Guyer or Mahoney.

Kick it. We are undefeated in OT this year, so I like our chances if we miss it.

There's no question whatsoever. You kick it.

Kick it and make it? You probably win.
Kick and miss? Send out the D.
Fail to convert? Send out the D.
Convert? Still more than likely going to have to kick a field goal. Probably aren't going to play for a TD. Just want a field goal with little to no time left. Kicker has to go out regardless.

If you are Kirk Ferentz you go for it. If you convert you take a knee and play for overtime. :biglaugh:
