So poor old Plainville did better the first game. Thewy are real troopers or glutton for punishment to play twice in a season. They should rename their team Painville.

SMITH CENTER, Kan. -- Smith Center scored 72 points in the first quarter of a high school football game Tuesday night on the way to an 86-0 win over Plainville, according to a report in the Salina, Kan., Journal.
Smith Center forced six turnovers in the first quarter as it racked up what is believed to be a record for points in a quarter by a high school team, the paper reported. The previous record was 66 by Prescott, Ariz., in 1925.
The defending state champion has outscored its opponents 640-0 so far this season, including a 69-0 win over Plainville earlier this year.

It's almost as amazing they managed to only score 14 for the rest of the game. But, wow, 640-0 for the year.

It's in the smallest 11-man football class in Kansas but they've sent a few guys to the NFL. Some might remember Mark Simoneau from K-State a few years ago.

Simoneau was a stud. He was on the K-State team we were leading 21-7 at halftime and they came back to win 28-21. David Allen has a long punt return for a TD and we fumbled the ensuing kickoff and they scored. Not a fun day!!!!

Oh my god, think of all those guys with hurt feelings on the other side...where are all you redskins sympathizers. Maybe they should have started their defense on offense or offensive players on defense.

I'm guessing there was a mercy rule at the half that was easily covered.
