Fanatics they are calling for Hail in the metro and Ames area. Might be a good idea if you are a student to park your car in a parking garage on campus. Could be better to pay 10 bucks or so to park than pay a insurance deductible.

I doubt many students have cars where they need to worry about paying an insurance deductible for hail damage, and if they do, I'm sure mommy or daddy would just cover it.

Probably Right. I would probably be on the hook for at least half of my deductible..lol

Gerdin parking ramp is free after 5:30. Heading there soon to work on a project, so at least will have my vehicle covered that way.

I think the storms will lose most of their omph by the time they get to Ames, too far from best dynamics, Des Moines would be more likely to get a hit.
