This is Taufoou’s second offense since joining the Iowa State football team after transferring last year from the College of San Mateo in California.

He was charged with fifth degree misdemeanor theft after allegedly stealing a wireless computer adapter from the campus Memorial Union book store on Sept. 17, 2009 according to Iowa State police department officials.

I would say the same thing if he hadn't had the theft earlier. I think the two together will probably leave him off the team but then again, I don't get paid a bunch of money to make these decisions.

Might depend on if he blew low enough to plead it down to something else. But I'd give it even odds whether he's still on the team this fall.
