Quality names, like Nick and Bruiser.

or sue.. and nancy or something

And he said: "Son, this world is rough
And if a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough
And I knew I wouldn't be there to help ya along.
So I give ya that name and I said goodbye
I knew you'd have to get tough or die
And it's the name that helped to make you strong."

I say that they need a Tonka Dump Truck. Gave one to my 2 yr old nephew last christmas and it spent the entire summer relocating mulch in my sister's backyard

Any type of large construction vehicle toy

Most importantly, buy them YOUR TIME. When it comes to family, money is time, not the other way around.

Good luck!

We bought this book for our god sons.

The Dangerous Book for Boys | Conn Iggulden, Hal Iggulden

It is a pretty cool information/activity book. The name covers the fact that some of the projects would be considered dangerous in our PC world (making a bow and arrow for instance) but overall it is the sort of stuff most of us that are 40+ did when we were growing up.

We have gotten our son a lot of sports stuff (balls, bats, hoops, etc...). He also has a lot of trucks and John Deere stuff as well.

Most importantly, he has a TON of books.
