I'm having an issue with my wifi and I thought I would turn to "the professionals". I have been experiencing intermittent packet loss and high response times. When plugged to my router via ethernet things are fine. I just upgraded the firmware on my router and that didn't help. I am starting to think that my 802.11n integrated wifi is failing... thoughts?

I had a similar problem after three years. I had to go out and buy a new, better model last month. It kept dropping laptops off line. The new N wifi is much better And faster.

I'm running a Linksys WRT160Nv3 and using a Lenovo Ideapad that's less than two months old...

Despite the thread title, I read the word "wifi" as "wife". Made the first two sentences somewhat startling and humorous. I have an eye appt scheduled in early January.
