Thank God that cop used some discretion, especially since the weapon turned out to be a BB gun. Huge tragedy narrowly avoided.

There is another one like that in Iowa just east of I35. Can't think of it but I've seen it on RAGBRAI.

Mineola in SW Iowa has a sign that says next 3 exits, its a very tiny town surrounded by several new housing developments due to its proximity to the Omaha metro area.
what did the kid think he was going to do with a bb gun. And what happened to tasers and mace do officers not use those tools over there
did you really just ask that dumb of question? if someone had a gun do you think you would pull out a gun or a taser? using a taser would be like bringing a knife to a gun fight. in the heat of the moment you dont know if its just a BB gun or something else.
