Is there any way this guy continues to ref in this world cup? Lalas said it best - "He was a disgrace". I think replay needs to be implemented into the world cup just for reasons like this.

Official FIFA Play-by-Play says the whistle was for a foul committed by Maurice Edu. He didnt committ a foul. Watch at the 4-5 second mark, (slow mo angle at 20 seconds and close up at 35) you can see Edu delays his run and is the last player to break towards goal from just inside the top of the box. The defender falls asleep and Edu runs right by him. Clean Goal. (not the best quality, but the best I can find right now)

for a penalty or lack there of? It's a judgement call that went against us. The whole game of soccer is a judgement call when it comes to penaltys, severity, timing on off sides calls etc.

You should have replay on judgement calls. He made the worst call ever...it should be changed.

ESPN flashed on the screen they thought it was for Offsides. The official ruling from FIFA was for a foul on Edu.

Offsides is not a judgement call. You are or you aren't. Replay could easily apply for offsides calls. In any case, I think the goal was disallowed for a foul rather than offsides.
