Thought I'd start the weirdest post of the day. Ever since I can recall, I'm guessing around 15-20 years or so I have eaten, or damn near close, an apple every day. I just find them to be a very refreshing, yet filling snack.

My question to you is, "What is your favorite kind of apple?"

Mine, without question, is Pink Lady.

I eat an apple pretty much every day with my lunch. At least during the week. I'm not quite as good about it on the weekend. I voted Red Delicious since that is what I usually get. Once in a while I will get some Granny Smiths for a change of pace.

I can not believe Red Delicious is currently tied for the lead. You all are aware that it is without a doubt the least flavorful apple aren't you? The only reason it was ever mass produced is for the color. Cardboard has more flavor than a Red Delicious apple.

On a side note the Red Delicious cultivar was started from a wild apple tree growing in Peru, Iowa.

So...does it keep them away? I didn't see my fave on the list- carmel.

I think Honeycrisp and Pink Lady are fairly similar really. Pink Lady has a bit more of a tart taste... which I enjoy. Braeburn is also pretty similar as well.

Granny Smith by far. I like things that border on sour or tart so they're my favorite. Honeycrisp are great in chicken salad.

Fuji. Juicy as hell, and the ones they sell at Costco are the size of softballs.
