If you need a 32" that means you should get at least a 40". But I second the Vizio recommendation.

Do you have a cabinet you are trying to fit it into? The 40's are close in price to the 32s.

Yeah the thing about 32" tv is that when the shows are in HD you get the true 32" but when you watch the crap non-hd programs that cut the sides off and your really probably at 22".

I got you.
It's not fitting into anywhere. Just a TV for my bedroom and don't want anything too big.

If you are fairly close to it when viewing, a 32 would probably be a good choice then. Depends on the size of your room.

I just bought a 40" Samsung at American for about $660. It's a 1080P but only 60Hz and I can't really tell that much of a difference between that and the 120Hz that were a couple hundred more.

Yeah if it's for a bedroom them 32" may be fine, depends like bos said on the size of the room, and what you watch on it.

I have a 32" Sony Bravia that is 720P. It was about $40 more than Vizio and the only reason we went with it, was we thought the sound was alot better on the Sony than the Vizio. My 2 other LCD's are Samsung and they are great.

So is the Sony good?

Yeah the Sony is good. I have DTHD and my other 2 tvs are 46/48 in 1080P. Just wathcing normal things I really can't tell a difference between the picture quality on the 3. If you get a bigger TV go to a 1080.

Now depending on how fast the action is on those dvds you may want to get a 1080 with some better hz.
