Guys may get more speeding tickets but women are still worse drivers. I have gotten about 7 tickets in my lifetime. My wife has zero. She will tell you that I am a way better driver then she is

Insurance rates are not directly related to how good of a driver you are.

You could have all kinds of tickets and be one of the best drivers in the world and never get in accidents. I would trust someone like that over a woman who take two parking spots or texts on the cell phone while driving through town or on the interstate.

What all these statistics fail to account for is the violations\accidents\etc per mile driven, given that men statistically tend to drive a lot more miles.

The study also found that female drivers were about 27% less likely to be found at fault when involved in an accident.

I'm pretty sure that males between 16 and 25 are part of what skew these numbers. Reckless/drunk driving is statistically higher for that group (or at least has been in the past) - that's why insurance rates are higher for them.

Everyone has sucked at driving at some point. None of us are 100 percent with it all of the time. Im not even sure why they throw these articles out there, they just become a ******* match.

Also the invincible factor. I know when I was that age, I thought nothing or anyone could catch me on my crotch rocket. After getting older, having a wife, kids, I tend to rethink alot of my actions.

I absolutely agree with this. I am more comfortable to admit where I consider my limitations to be now that I'm older. I'm a nervous driver, so I don't want to screw around with bad weather, etc.

I don't go by gender, I go by geographic location. Midwest drivers are horrible, especially (no offense) in Iowa. Ohio drivers are horrid too

This is bunk, because...

Men drive 80% more miles. When that is factored in women caused far more accidents than men.
