You think #8 is bad, wait until they bring back the gold pants baby.

One thing about Chizik, he won't stop until we're number 1.

The only ones I really agree with are 1 & 2. Of course you have to admit, Oregon keeps the press up with those unis. I guess they believe any press is good press.

They must have something against red on red - Utah is in there as well. And how do you put Deleware in there, and not Michigan - the shade of blue?

But we have the toughest mascot in the nation! Who cares how we look as long as Cy can kick everyone else in the pills!

I double-dog-dare SI to put up an online vote for the "Best College Football Uniforms In the Nation" and see if this #8 ranking holds up.:wink0st:

What kind of fruitcake sits around and ranks the fashion of football uniforms?

I suppose the winners of the best uniforms were wearing loafers, a matching belt and a pink tutu with accents.:rolleyes5cz:

Kinda funny, since the only ones I really dislike are Clemson's and Oregon's. I especially don't think Utah nor ISU belong on that list (could easily be replaced with Missouri or Miami)...

I actually like Clemson's uniform, Utah's aren't bad, and at least Oregon's color scheme matches to some extent.

I dunno - ours look like they match to me...

The only problem I have with out current uni's is that the numbers are hard to read from a distance. Esp. #1s and #7s are easily confused. I'll be real curious to see what the athletic dept. comes up with for '08 designs. (Anybody remember when they were going to unveil those?)

I like our football numbers - I think the mens and womens b-ball teams should adopt it as well so that we have a common numbering scheme. Schools such as Colorado, Boston College, etc. do this and I think it helps promote athletic department unity.

Would be nice if the jersey and helmet were the same color. That looks kinda silly.

Uniform debates are popular with ISU fans.

ISU fans are more passionate about football uniform color and design than they are the results of the games. I think this is a result of historically sucking in football.

You wanna test the potency of uniform debates? Post a thread on what, hypothetically, baseball uniforms should look like if baseball were brought back at ISU. That would generate more debate than whether or not ISU shoul bring back baseball -).
