Sorry if this has already been posted, but did you guys notice that Nebraska beat USC on the road the other day in the hardwood series. That really surprises me and is a nice win for the Big 12. Maybe we can win the series this year.

Good win for Nebraska, but that game wasn't part of the challenge. USC plays at Texas on Thursday when the Challenge starts.
Ha, that makes more sense. I saw this first on wikipedia. I guess it was an overexuberant fan. I'll have to correct that.

It was, according to the Big 12.
USC and Washington are each playing 2 Big 12 teams to make up the difference. The first two years it was Arizona and Stanford.

Dec. 16 Oklahoma State at Stanford (FSN, 9 p.m.) Stanford, Calif.
Dec. 22 Texas A&M at Washington (FSN, 10 p.m.) Seattle, Wash.
Now that makes sense. I just assumed that two schools didn't play. We have the same thing set up for Volleyball with the IIAC/MIAC. The bottom one or two teams just don't play in the challenge.
USC is NOT GOOD this year. They're 2-2, and lost to Loyola Marymount by 8.

Agreed. They only have one guy eligible this semester who averaged more than 13 minutes/game for them last year
Don't make me even think about that game. A sure cure for insomnia.Wow, didn't know there was another power conference program in that bad of shape. So of course that begs the question of USC vs Iowa, who ya got?
Couple questions:
How many years has this existed? This is the 3rd year or so?
What is the series record?
ISU has been matched up with Oregon St twice?
TIA!
