Tritan is the USC phone I have and I love it. Phones I'd stay away from are the ones that look like gameboys instead of phones..
US Cellular is apparently doing a sale from 11/27-11/30 where you can get ANY phone for free, all you have to do is get a premium internet plan ($20 a month)
For the next 3-4 days US Cellular has all there phones free if you sign a new contract. Great deal, I think the wife and I are going to go resign and get new phones.
I just got the Motorola Crush. Its touch screen but not required internet. I am a little bit "phone handicapped" but it is really easy to use and figure out. I am really happy with it. Get the rubber cover for it- so you dont have to worry about getting damaged. I really like it so far. It was that or the jitterbug :yes:
I just got my Tritan a few months ago, wonder if I can change?
We got our phones about 5 months ago and just got relatively cheap ones. It sounds like as long as you go in and renew for the next 2 years you can get a new phone for free (after rebate). Completely worth it to me.
Ahhhhh, so they send you one of those Visa Debit cards? Now I see what they are doing.
Yes, ranging between 50-70 dollars. Last time we got a phone and recieved this rebate, we got it back within a month or so.
I have the Touch and it's a nice phone. If you don't mind a slide out keyboard I would suggest getting the Touch Pro instead. Brother-in-law just got it on this deal ($70 mail in rebate) and he had the touch before. He seems to like the Touch Pro better.
I didn't realize you had to be eligible to sign a new contract to get this deal. We area few months away from being eligible to resign...so no HTC for me :sad:
Yah, but there were probably 100 people in that store, and the guy I talked to was pretty obviously overwhelmed...I didn't tell him we were wanting to upgrade to internet and stuff. I am currently waiting to speak with someone from there 1-800 number to figure out what the deal is.
Just talked to them...you have to be eligible for new equiptment (usually 3/4ths of the way through yoru contract ro something) for the deal.
Just got an LG Banter from U.S. Cellular about an hour ago and so far its great. My old phone went through the wash and I wasn't eligible for an upgrade so I had to just suck it up and buy a new one... for full price.:no:
