My wife went to purchase a bottle of water at the Iowa game and said that it was $5 a bottle? :shocked: Any truth to this? I thought that it was $4 when I looked and I considered that highway robbery!!! I understand that stadium improvements cost money but that's crazy! (Pollard's view on the poor economy must have changed). My wife decided to stand in the long water fountain line like most people.

They were $4 for the regular size bottles and $5 for the liters(?) at the Pizza Hut window. I spent $20 on water that game. Almost as much as my water bill for the month!
When I was there (can't speak directly to this year) there was the $3 20oz bottle and the $4 1 Liter bottle. I assume it's the same thing just different prices

Unfortunately that's the norm. I paid $4 for a bottle of water at Kauffman Stadium last spring. :no:
Here's a tip -- bring your own 20 oz. (unopened) water into the stadium. Won't get grief from the bag checkers as long as the seal is still in tact. (But I think only 1 per person)
Pollard probably added **** to it so that you are forced to buy bottled water and help the "mission"

They sell bottled water at football games? Could have fooled me because I couldn't find anyone to sell me some...
SO true...I hear so much about Jamie and his financial expertise, but if he would monitor Centerplate concessions a little more closely, he would see that ISU is getting screwed.
Product is so inadequately stocked at both football and basketball games. Whatever percentage of sales ISU gets, there's tons on $$$ left on the table because of Centerplate being out of product that fans want to purchase...
Man the Pollard haters are out in full force... With how many pot smokers and pro marijuana people I've seen in the Story county thread what happend to being laid back and just let everything flow?
