WBB: 2026 Transfer Portal

That seems like it would be a good place for her. I was impressed from what I saw of Cori Close in the interviews during the FF and Championship. Jada seems to play with a chip on her shoulder. Close seems like the kind of coach who could channel that in a positive way.

UCLA sort of built their roster for this one run and got they get the golden ring. LA limelight might shift back to USC next with Juju back. UCLA has no HS kids for 2026. The do have one Spanish gal signed. They will need to pull a TCU to stay with top group in the Big Ten.

B1G is USC's to lose next year and they'll probably make a deep NCAA tourney run. JuJu, Jazzy, Kennedy, and Hall who is the #1 recruit in this year's class. They're loaded with elite talent.

It's slow because everyone is over valuing themselves. Lot of coaches are telling agents let us know when the price drops.

Unless you are B1G or SEC you don’t have the money. There is not enough money at the other P4 schools to pay the women when there isn’t enough for Men’s sports that bring in the revenue. Donations are going to dry up with the cost of fuel and everything.

.....would like to know how TCU from the B12 has done it so well with their annual roster rebuilds from the portal.

Cone on, Do you really think we have any chance of getting any of them back?

I don't see that as a realistic option.
Relax.
Has nothing to to do with any of them coming back. You’re concerned that we haven’t signed more than one. It’s early. Just like our transfers are trying to find a home. It’s early. Not everybody operates like TJ.

Frog$ continue to find more ...

It will be Interesting to see how it works out with them finding younger players with more than 1 year of eligibility instead of 1 year "rental" players...

Old article -- guessing the $ is even more now...

The increase to TCU’s 2026-27 tuition will allow “the university to maintain and advance TCU’s standard of excellence in academics and student experience, while addressing economic factors that impact operational costs,” according to the first email.

Tuition is currently $63,500 and will increase to around $66,500 the next academic year.

For context, the average cost of tuition for private colleges in the nation is a little over $43,000, the most expensive being University of Southern California at over $75,000, according to Business Insider. TCU is still more expensive than Harvard.
