I seem to remember you in a fight one night outside of one of these bars:
Bouncer:
You want to go to jail?
Cyznutz Friend to bouncer:
You want to die?
Bouncer laughed, we went back in and drank.

God I miss college... a quarter for a beer is hard to imagine these days.
My mom and dad were managers at Cave-in and then my dad lived in the apts above Cy's that turned into Lost & Found Lounge.I'm with you about That Place. I probably served you at some time. I worked there from the mid 70's through school. I still keep in touch with my old boss.
I found this site while looking for information on Granddaddy's. I client I was talking to said she saw U-2 there in 1980 for a $3 cover. Claims to have had conversations with all the members.
In dog-town I lived above the Cave-In Lounge (next to the fire station) for a year (1974-75), very popular and fun. The Library Bar was just up the street towards the Towers.
My preference was always That Place though, even when I wasn't working. I went to other downtown bars when there was no good Foosball opposition at That Place.
