*** Official #23 Tennessee vs #6 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Well, basically a tie game,
Milan has been irrelevant for the most part.

Concerns? We are just being destroyed on the glass and have 3-4 really bad turnovers.

If Tennessee starts making shots we are screwed

My gut says Tennessee pulls away with about 8 min left.
You gut is straight rot

I forgot to add, you can start to feel the loss of Jefferson more in this game due to the quality of opponent, especially when we get deeper into the bench. Also need to use the other side of the rim on some of those layup attempts, as they do have a heck of a shot blocker.
Or dish it out to Mom...That could have happened on one layup that got blocked.

We have to shoot +60% this half. I cant see the rebound issue changing
I can think of 4-6 times we just stood there with guys blocked out…no one grabbed the ball.

That’s an easy fix.

Slap Blake around and make him mad enough to get aggressive on the boards. Or put in Plata.

Tennessee is going to focus on cleaning up the turnovers in the second half, they won't do it as much. We have to counter and keep them off the offensive glass. Those two adjustments get made by each team, it comes down who can hit shots in the half court offense.

I don’t see how we keep them off the boards in the second. Better defense and scoring on steals + Mommy = our ticket to Michigan on Sunday.

Teams don’t “start making shots” against us. Who’s more likely to start making shots, a tired TN team or Milan?
