WBB: 2026 Transfer Portal

I think a bigger discussion is, which is more important? Do we want Audi to stay so that she finishes her career here. I don't think she's gonna have much of a WNBA career so she should take as much money as she can get now. And who knows that maybe staying at Iowa State. But I know for a fact, Bil can't build a winner around her as he's shown for three years. She scored 30 and gives up 30 and they've not been able to come up with a defense that works to hide her. Or do we wish her well and hope she gets on with a great team, but she probably won't be the focus. It's one of the oddest situations I've seen in sport. Hometown girl, state loves her, super talented in one aspect of her game. And a huge liability in the other. I think she's been such an amazing role model/spokesperson/ambassador for the game that you ride it out for one more year. But it's hard to watch when our team is playing 4 on 5 as she can't even get back on a made basket before the other team is down the court
As I indicated earlier, Audi will most likely stay. Primarily because she can't play at the pace the best WBB teams play at. No other team will design an offense around someone who slows everything down like she does.

We will be on 10 straight years of just feed the ball to 1 person offense. Don't know why Bill went this way after 20 years but he wont leave it
Bridget and her Olympics dream? Hell-bent on getting a Big 12 Player of the Year winner?

Those are the 3 Ive heard will stay. AJ and Paulk are the only two on the team who haven't reposted anyone else's announcements. Audi reposted only the ones Ive heard would've left no matter what.(didn't repost Beaty or Brown)

Whatever falling out in that locker room that happen within the last month was bad
I've always had the feeling that Crooks and Brown were a "strictly business" relationship.

As long as no WBB players end up at EIU I'm fine. Audi has turned down multi million dollars offers of NIL because they don't fit her values. This decision will be a basketball one not a chase the money venture.

I'm amazed that people don't realize the talent that Addy Brown was/is. People saying she's not a high major player? Are you kidding me? Put her on a UCONN squad where she doesn't have to lead the team in rebounding and she's elite. She will get high major offers and I wouldn't be shocked if she could almost just choose where she wanted to go. Anyone would take her.

And that's what pisses me off the most about CBF... the pieces were there, he just couldn't coach them to win. It's incredible.

The biggest problem that I could see admittedly as a non-ball knower. Audi was just too much of a liability on D and rebounding. They weren't going to compete at a high level if that doesn't get fixed.

I wonder if how they dealt with her injury had anything to do with it.
No inside info but, it wouldn't surprise me if it did. There seemed to be some tension between ISU and Brown about the injury. She choose to get an outside medical opinion and we don't know if that was in alignment with the ISU medical folks and the whole treatment plan was pretty hush-hush. I do think BF wanted her back on the floor faster than what Brown and her people thought she should be.
