They shot really well against BYU on Saturday, but only for a half and weren't able to sustain. That said, they are our only Hilton loss so I'm not comfortable predicting anything. They still hit 16/35 (45%) and lost by 6. To beat them while shooting like that would take almost a herculean type effort it seems. They can’t possibly shoot as good as they did last time, right? Right?
Why don't they just win by about 50 every game?
….and let’s do that indefinitelyWhy don't they just win by about 50 every game?
My thoughts exactly- until I went and looked at their two losses last expecting to see a big drop off since they lost two including at home to TCU. They were 16-35 (46%) and 11-32 (34%) in those two games. Against BYU 35 of their 58 shots were 3’s and against TCU 32 of 53 were 3’s. It’s who they are and more importantly, they move it well by the pass and get it out of traps and force long scrambles and closeouts for ISU’s defenders. The key will be as always can ISU force some TO’s and also hope they’re closer to the low 30’s on 3 point percentage. Their shooters move to windows well when someone is trapped- they will get open looks. Well coached team.
I don’t see TJ adjusting defensive style.
Tech will get looks, can they knock em down at a high rate and can we avoid offensive Luls.
Totally agree. Why don't they just win by about 50 every game?
