Honestly, who doesn’t love a preseason college football poll?

The USA Today released its first poll today and four Big 12 programs are ranked in the top 25.

Oklahoma, the media’s pick to win the Big 12, is ranked third. Last year’s league champion, Baylor debuted at No. 10. Kansas State is at No. 21 and Texas is at 24.

That means that should Kansas State get past Stephen F. Austin on college football’s opening weekend, a top 25 opponent should enter Jack Trice Stadium in week 2 when the Cyclones battle the Wildcats on Sept. 6 at 11 a.m.
