According to an Iowa State press release, Iowa State’s senior forward Melvin Ejim will participate in the World University Games representing Canada in Kazan, Russia from July 6-17. 

Ejim’s Canadian team will begin its play on Sunday against Sweden at 9:30 p.m. Iowa time. Per the Iowa State release, Canada will also go head-to-head with the United States, Australia, the Czech Republic and United Arab Emirates in pool C. 

Ejim averaged 11.3 points and 9.3 rebounds as a junior for Iowa State as was named an All-Big 12 Third-Team member.

Sunday, July 7 – Sweden, 9:30 p.m.

Monday, July 8 – United Arab Emirates, 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 10 – Australia, 2 p.m.

Thursday, July 11 – Czech Republic, 9:30 p.m.

Friday, July 12 – United States, 2 p.m. (ESPN3)
