RECRUITING: Three-star linebacker flips to Iowa State

Iowa State has landed a commitment from three-star linebacker Mike Rose, per his Twitter account.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect flipped his commitment from Ball State. The No. 83 outside linebacker in the class also holds an offer from Air Force.

Iowa State had started to push hard for Rose after the staff was able to see him live the night before the program’s win over Akron.

The Broadview Heights, Ohio native is Iowa State’s 16th commitment in the 2018 class. He joins Georgia three-star Gerry Vaughn as linebackers in the class.

The Cyclones’ class is currently considered the No. 56 class in the country by 247Composite. Stay tuned for more.
