By Iowa State Athletic Communications AMES, Iowa – The Dec. 31 Insight Bowl pitting Iowa State against Minnesota on the NFL Network will also be shown live on WOI-TV, channel 5, the ABC-TV affiliate in central Iowa. The game will kick off at 5 p.m. CST.

WOI-TV will air a one-hour pre-game show from Tempe, Ariz. that will start at 4 p.m. CST in Sun Devil Stadium. WOI-TV will be the only station in Iowa allowed by the NFL Network to supplement its national telecast, which is available on Direct TV and Dish Network.

Paul Burmeister will handle play-by-play duties on the telecast, Mike Mayock will do color with Stacey Dales as sideline reporter. The game will be on the Cyclone Radio Network with John Walters doing play-by-play, Eric Heft providing color and Ben Bruns doing sideline reporting duties. The game will also be on Westwood Radio One stations nationally with Kevin Kugler doing play-by-play and Terry Donahue providing color.
