Marcus Zelee announced his commitment to Iowa State today, making the guard the third commit in T.J. Otzelberger‘s 2026 class.
Zelee was offered by the Cyclones on Monday and quickly turned around with a commitment less than 48 hours later.
The fast-rising 6’2, 185 pound guard from Austin, TX is unranked nationally by most major recruiting outlets but is a three-star prospect on On3Sports.com. He picked up an offer from Arizona State hours before Iowa State offered. He also had offers from Drake and Texas A&M Corpus Cristi.
Zelee joins three-star guards Yusef Gray Jr. and Christian Wiggins in the 2026 class.
