PHILADELPHIA Iowa State officially closed out its run at the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships with a seventh-place finish from Jacob Frost in his tournament debut.

Frost, the No. 9 seed at 141 pounds, ended the weekend on a high note with a dominant 17-3 major decision over Minnesota’s No. 6 Vance VomBaur. With the win, Frost etched his name into the Iowa State record books as the 311th All American in program history.

In the final team standings, the Cyclones finished in 27th place with 18.0 team points.
