Iowa State ranked No. 3 in latest AP MBB Poll

Iowa State came in at No. 3 for the third-straight week in the latest Associated Press Men’s Basketball poll, released on Monday.

The Cyclones had just one game this week, beating Morgan State 99-72 at Hilton Coliseum on Sunday.

Iowa State is one of five Big 12 teams ranked in the top 25, joining No. 7 Kansas, No. 15 Houston, No. 17 Cincinnati and No. 25 Baylor.

West Virginia, Arizona State and Texas Tech also received votes.

This is the fourth week in program history that the Cyclones have been ranked at No. 3. They will return to the court in a week to face Colorado on Monday, December 30 in Boulder (8 p.m. CBSSN).
