When Iowa State takes the field against Arizona State in Saturday’s Big 12 championship game (11:00 a.m. ABC), it will be without its leading wide receiver Jordyn Tyson.
According to the report from Sun Devil Source, ASU’s 247 site, Tyson was injured in Arizona State’s final regular season game during the third quarter, and had a sling on before the game was over.
Tyson corralled 75 catches for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Sun Devils this season.
He is tied for second in the Big 12 in touchdowns and is sixth in the league in receptions.
Tyson had made a name for himself late in the season, going over the century mark in yards five times – including in each of the team’s final three games.
