Iowa State debuts at No. 17 in initial CFP Rankings

Iowa State football debuted at No. 17 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings release Tuesday.

The Cyclones are the second highest ranked team in the Big 12, behind the undefeated BYU Cougars.

Iowa State returns to the field Saturday to face Kansas at Arrowhead Stadium at 2:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.
