Iowa State is back into the AP Poll at No. 21 this week, following its 20-19 win over Iowa in Saturday’s Cy-Hawk game at Kinnick Stadium.
This is the first time Iowa State has been ranked in the poll since 2021.
The Cyclones are one of five Big 12 teams ranked in the poll, joining No. 12 Utah, No. 13 Oklahoma State, No. 14 Kansas State and No. 20 Arizona.
Following a bye week, Iowa State will return to the field September 21, to face Arkansas State in the program’s Hall of Fame Weekend (1:00 p.m., ESPN+).
