The ESPN Maui Invitational bracket was unveiled for the upcoming Thanksgiving week tournament Monday in a report from Jon Rothstein, and it features an opening round matchup with Auburn for Iowa State.
Both teams will likely start next season inside the top 20, which sets up a high-profile matchup on Monday, November 25 – just Iowa State’s fourth game of the year.
Tipoff time and TV selection has not yet been released for the tournament, but other first round matchups are set in stone.
North Carolina and Dayton will square off in the other half of the bottom side of the bracket, and one of the two will face Iowa State on Tuesday, November 26.
The rest of the tournament includes UConn, which faces Memphis in the first round, along with Colorado and Michigan State.
The third game of the tournament will take place on Wednesday, November 27.
