Anthony Johnson Jr. claimed by New York Giants off waivers

After being cut following a productive preseason, former Cyclone Anthony Johnson Jr. has found a new spot with an NFL team.

Johnson Jr. will head to the New York Giants, who picked him up off of waivers from Green Bay.

Johnson Jr. appeared in 14 games with the Packers last year, totaling 26 tackles as well as an interception.

The Giants open up the season at home against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, September 8 (12:00 p.m. FOX).
