Iowa State’s latest quarterback commit is headed to a camp to compete against the best competition from around the nation.
J.J. Kohl, a 2023 four-star prospect from Ankeny High School, will be competing in this year’s Elite 11 camp.
The organization began announcing its final roster Wednesday with five of the 11 quarterbacks that will take to the camp in Los Angeles June 28-30.

The camp is meant to showcase the best the nation has to offer and has seen players like Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Drew Brees and Tim Tebow take the field before their college careers started.
