Iowa State welcomed TCU into Hilton Coliseum on Saturday – just the second time in 27 days the Texas school has been on the court.
The Cyclones had no issues, rolling to a 78-47 win that gave Iowa State its seventh-straight win on the year.
It’s the second win streak stretching seven games for the team this season, which was helped to the win by a career-high 17 points from Morgan Kane.
The post player continues to improve on her game, shooting 6-7 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line.
Ashley Joens finished the game with 21 points and 11 rebounds, her sixth double-double in seven games. Emily Ryan tallied 16 points on the day.
The win gives Iowa State a 3-0 record to start Big 12 play and an overall mark of 13-1 on the season.
The start in conference play is the team’s first perfect, three-game stretch to open Big 12 play since 2014.
Iowa State will look to earn sole possession of first place in the conference on Tuesday during it’s next game on the road against Kansas State.
