Iowa State is ranked No. 12 in the latest women’s basketball AP Poll, released on Monday.
The team is up two spots from last week’s rankings after defeating West Virginia Sunday.
The No. 12 spot is the highest the Cyclones have been in the poll this season and makes them the second highest-ranked team in the Big 12.
Texas comes in at No. 9 while Baylor drops to No. 14 after its loss to Kansas State. The Wildcats received 27 votes and Oklahoma entered the Top 25 at No. 23 this week, giving the conference four teams in.
This also creates a top 25 matchup on Wednesday night for the Cyclones.
No. 12 Iowa State will face off with No. 23 Oklahoma in Norman on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Network Oklahoma.
