A pair of Cyclones will be showcasing their skills at one of the marquee NFL scouting events prior to the 2022 NFL Draft.

Tight end Charlie Kolar and linebacker Mike Rose have accepted invites to the Reese’s Senior Bowl. They’ll play in the game on Feb. 5, 2022, in Mobile, Ala.

Kolar has been one of the nation’s best tight ends each of the last three seasons and is a two-time All-American selection. As a senior in 2021, Kolar has caught 41 passes for 506 yards and four touchdowns. He’s snagged 147 receptions for 1,931 yards and 21 touchdowns during his time as a Cyclone.

Rose, a finalist for the Lombardi Award, has recorded 56 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and a sack this season. He was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2020 and will finish his career as one of the school’s all-time leaders in tackles for loss to go along with 304 total tackles and six interceptions in his ISU career.

Iowa State will square off with Oklahoma in Norman on Saturday in an 11 a.m. kick on Fox.
