Iowa State football’s run of recruiting success is rolling on.
The Cyclones landed a commitment from three-star defensive end Ikenna Ezeogu on Monday, giving the program its third commit in the last four days. Ezeogu announced his pledge on his Twitter account.
Ezeogu, a native of Blue Springs, Mo., is considered the No. 623 player in the 2022 recruiting class, No. 29 edge defender and No. 14 player in Missouri, according to 247Composite. The 6-foot-6, 215-pound prospect chose Iowa State over offers from Kansas State, Michigan State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Kansas and others.
Iowa State’s 2022 class, which currently has 12 commitments, is considered the No. 42 class in the country and No. 6 class in the Big 12.
