Iowa State has officially added its early enrollees for the 2021 recruiting cycle to the roster. Each player is listed with their jersey number, plus official height and weights, below.

#13 Jaylin Noel, 5-10, 175, WR

Listed five pounds heavier and one inch shorter than he was during the recruiting process, Noel fits the mold of a prototypical slot receiver. The Kansas City native was the No. 123 receiver in the 2021 class and No. 828 player overall.

#18 Malik Verdon, 6-4, 205, DB

Verdon, a native of Hamilton, Ohio, arrives at roughly the same size he was listed at during the recruiting process. The No. 28 player in Ohio fits the mold of the long, rangy athletes Matt Campbell and his staff have utilized often across the defensive backfield.

#22 Deon Silas, 5-8, 175, RB

Despite being listed at two inches taller than he was during the recruiting process, Silas is now the shortest player on the Cyclones’ roster. The nation’s No. 16 all-purpose back certainly makes up for it with his 175-pound frame that should give him the size needed to take the beating of being a Big 12 tailback.

#62 Dodge Sauser, 6-5, 280, OL

Sauser arriving in Ames at 6-foot-5, 280-pounds is further proof of how much more developed offensive linemen have been physically upon joining the program since Campbell took over. The Grinnell native will surely add weight as a freshman, but the days of the Cyclones bringing in offensive linemen with long-term project frames seems to be behind them.

#80 Tristan Michaud, 6-6, 200, WR

The No. 2 player from Ontario, Canada ties Sean Shaw as the program’s tallest wide receiver. He arrives in Ames at the exact same size Shaw was when he joined the Cyclones as part of the 2018 recruiting class.

#82 Tyler Moore, 6-5, 243, TE

Oddly enough, Moore is now the Cyclones’ shortest scholarship tight end. Obviously, in that position group, small is all relative. The Johnston native fits the mold Campbell and his staff have had so much success with while building one of the nation’s best tight end rooms.

#99 Howard Brown, 6-2, 305, DL

Brown arriving on campus over 300 pounds makes his highlight reel of plays at quarterback even more impressive. Few athletes in this class create as much excitement as the dual-threat defensive tackle from Kansas City.
