Iowa State basketball is about to miss its third straight game due to COVID-19 protocols.
It all began last Wednesday, when a road game at Kansas State got postponed due to issues in Manhattan. Iowa State’s program then went on pause last Friday, which got Saturday’s game at Kansas cancelled.
Iowa State sent out a release on Sunday afternoon, which stated the following: “The Iowa State-Texas men’s basketball game scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 20 has been postponed. On Friday, Iowa State paused basketball activities due to COVID-19 protocols within the program.”
The next scheduled game on Iowa State’s roster is next Saturday at Texas Tech. The last game that the Cyclones played was on Jan. 9 vs. that same Texas Tech team, which resulted in a 91-64 loss.
