Bridget Carleton is on the move again.
In the ever-changing circuit that is women’s basketball on a professional level, the former Cyclone has signed another contract.
Carleton will set off to France to compete in Ligue Féminine de Basketball for a team based out of Landerneau, France.
The team, Landerneau Bretagne Basket, announced Carleton’s commitment via Twitter on Thursday morning.
The team, which saw its inception in 2011, earned a championship in 2018 in the professional league’s developmental tour – the equivalent to the NBA G-League, from what I can tell.
It earned the club a promotion to the top level for 2019 and beyond, as they will utilize Carleton as a stretch-four player during the 2020 season.
The league has not announced its 2020 schedule yet, but it looks like they usually start in late July, and it looks like this will be Carleton’s next step.
Writers Note: A big shoutout to Jared Larson of Wide Right Natty Lite for translating a lot of this information.
