RECRUITING: Cyclones in WMU transfer’s top-four

Iowa State made the cut for a transfer guard who averaged double-digit points last season when he reduced his list of college options to four on Saturday.

Western Michigan transfer Mike Flowers announced a top-four of Iowa State, Cal, DePaul and Santa Clara. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound guard averaged 16.9 points per game as season for Western Michigan plus added 3.2 assists per game. That came one year after he averaged 15.7 points per game as a sophomore.

Iowa State still has four scholarships available for the 2020 spring recruiting cycle.
