Iowa State has landed a commitment from three-star California athlete Leonard Glass, a source tells Cyclone Fanatic publisher Chris Williams. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect took an official visit to Ames over the weekend.
Glass is rated as the No. 838 player in the 2019 recruiting class by 247. He’s the No. 78 athlete and No. 90 player in the state of California.
The San Joaquin Memorial product chose the Cyclones over offers from Washington State, Oregon State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Colorado State, San Diego State and a handful of other FBS programs.
Glass gives Iowa State 11 commits in its 2019 recruiting class that rated as the No. 35 class in the country entering the week. He is the first player in the class from the state of California and the only prospect listed as an athlete at this time.
