Another former Cyclone has arrived at basketball’s highest level.
Naz Mitrou-Long made his NBA debut Tuesday night with the Utah Jazz in a 107-83 loss to the Denver Nuggets. One of Iowa State’s all-time great 3-point shooters knocked down his only shot from deep in his one minute of play.
He also left the game for a memorable reason.
Mitrou-Long is the third former Cyclone to make his NBA debut in 2017 joining former teammates Monte Morris (Denver) and Abdel Nader (Boston). He is the 26th former Cyclone in program history to reach the National Basketball Association.
