Iowa State freshman Lindell Wigginton made his YMCA Capital City League debut in Des Moines Outreach Lions Club’s 111-108 semifinal loss to Sparta Waste Services on Thursday. The five-star recruit scored 36 points, on 11-of-27 shooting, grabbed nine rebounds, dished six assists, made three steals and blocked two shots.
Sparta Waste Services will take on Doerrfeld Promotions, who beat Hinterland 108-105 in the other semifinal, on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Valley Southwoods. See a few clips from Wigginton’s performance in the videos below.
