Here’s a nice honor for Iowa State’s prized basketball signee, Lindell Wigginton. The 6-foot-1 guard out of Oak Hill Academy was recently named as a third-team All-American according to USA Today.
Wigginton averaged 20.2 points, 3.6 assists and 2.4 steals per game as a senior for Oak Hill, who is currently 35-4 on the season.
Wigginton will lead his team into this weekend’s Dicks Nationals Tournament as the 5-seed vs. Findlay Prep. That game will be televised live on ESPNU on Thursday at 1 p.m.
