A little bit of football scheduling news today.
According to FBSSchedules.com, Iowa State has added North Dakota to its 2024 slate. Cyclone Fanatic has since confirmed this news through an Iowa State representative.
North Dakota, an FCS program, is a member of the Big Sky Conference. The Fighting Hawks went 9-3 last season while going 8-0 in Big Sky Play. North Dakota lost in the second round of the FCS playoffs to Richmond.
As far as analyzing this move goes, it’s really impossible to tell how good of a program North Dakota will be in the year 2024. So much can, and will change between now and then.
Hey, at least it isn’t North Dakota State.
