Iowa State moves up to No. 20 in newest AP Poll

Iowa State’s streak of consecutive weeks in the AP Top 25 has reached 58. The Cyclones moved up four spots in this week’s poll to No. 20, one spot behind Big 12 rival West Virginia.

Kansas (No. 7) and Texas (No. 23) are the other Big 12 teams in the poll. Duke still sits on top of the ranking followed by Kentucky, Villanova, Oregon and North Carolina to round out the top five.

Future Iowa State opponent Cincinnati made its season debut in the poll at No. 24. Cal was the other new team to join the ranking at No. 25.
