Check out ISU commit Josh Johnson’s senior season highlight tape

Arkansas wide receiver Josh Johnson is the highest-rated offensive commit in Iowa State’s 2017 class, which makes it unsurprising the 5-foot-11-inch, 170-pound prospect put up big numbers during his senior season.

The Central Arkansas Christian product finished the season with 38 catches for 636 yards and eight touchdowns, according to MaxPreps. He put up those numbers despite missing two of the team’s games with an injury.

Johnson recently updated his senior highlight tape and it is pretty impressive.

Johnson, who is rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Composite, picked Iowa State over offers from Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Kansas, Indiana, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and a handful of other schools.

The Cyclones already have a few weapons at wide receiver that will be back next season, including Allen Lazard, Deshaunte Jones, Hakeem Butler, Trever Ryen and Carson Epps. Plus, you can add true freshman Jalen Martin, who redshirted this season, to that list as it sounds like he was impressive on Iowa State’s scout team this fall.

Based on his senior film, it looks as though Johnson could be the next guy to join that list.
