Two days, two commitments for the Iowa State football team. Three-star Libertyville (IL) offensive tackle Tyler Jost has committed to Matt Campbell‘s program, per a source.
Jost is the eleventh best offensive tackle in the Midwest according to Scout.com and the top tackle in Illinois. He holds offers from 13 other schools including Syracuse, Toledo, West Michigan, Harvard and Yale.
The 6-foot-6-inch, 265 pound prospect is the seventh Iowa State commit, the third on the offensive line and first from Illinois. He’s the second commit of the week after Michigan cornerback Richard Bowens III committed to Iowa State on Wednesday.
